I’ve also passed legislation requiring metro districts to be upfront with homebuyers about hidden fees, because families deserve transparency and a fair deal when buying a home. By working collaboratively, we can make homeownership more attainable and alleviate the burden of soaring rental costs.

That’s why I led the fight to end Colorado’s harmful zero-tolerance discipline policies that fueled the school-to-prison pipeline. I also stood up against discriminatory voucher programs that left students with disabilities behind, and I continue to prioritize funding for at-risk students and underserved schools.
